You should always remember that there are at least two internationally recognized page formatting styles, the APA and MLA. They are usually seen in citation concepts but they also provide students with formatting styles that are applicable to any research articles. Let us talk about how they form the paper cover page for an article.
In the APA format, you need to include in the cover page the following details; title, author and class details which will include section, academic year, professor’s name and date. The way to arrange the info in the page is really simple. First, locate the very center of the page. They you can write the title of your work. This is followed by your name, subject, class section your professor’s name and the date. All the info should be in a single block at the center of your cover page. Then at the upper right hand corner of the page write again the title of your project in a smaller font.
On the other hand, the MLA cover page format requires the same exact info that the APA style demands. The only difference is the way you write the details with regards to spacing. The title should be at the upper portion of the page in centered position. This is followed by your name at the very center of the page. The remaining block of info should be written way below the very bottom part of the cover page.
